Marketing & Events Executive / Assistant Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and hands-on Marketing & Events Executive / Assistant Manager to support the planning and execution of marketing as well hospitality initiatives across live entertainment events as. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about events, with good experience in social media management, content creation, campaign execution, and digital marketing. This role requires an understanding of both local and China digital marketing ecosystems, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while working closely with internal teams, media agencies, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns for concerts, live entertainment events, and company projects.

  • Manage and monitor the day-to-day performance of social media and digital marketing platforms.

  • Coordinate with designers and agencies to produce engaging marketing content.

  • Create copywriting and coordinate content across platforms including Xiaohongshu (XHS), WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, Instagram, Facebook, Google ads, YouTube, Klook, and other relevant channels.

  • Monitor market trends, audience behaviour, industry developments, and competitor activities to improve campaign effectiveness.

  • Monitor online conversations, audience feedback, and public sentiment across social media platforms, forums, and digital channels.

  • Conduct hotel research, negotiation, and booking for crew and VIPs

  • Arrange air travel, ground transportation, and logistics coordination

  • Handle visa applications and travel documentation for the touring crew

  • Provide on-site support during events.

  • Perform ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Mass Communications, Tourism and Hospitality or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in events, entertainment, concerts, lifestyle, tourism, media, or related industries.

  • Good knowledge of China social media platforms (XHS, WeChat, Weibo, Douyin) and local social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Google ads, YouTube, Klook, etc.).

  • Experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, and campaign execution.

  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, social media analytics, digital advertising platforms, and content management tools.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Chinese language proficiency will be an advantage to liaise with Chinese-speaking partners, artists, agencies, and platforms.

  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for concerts, live entertainment, and event marketing.

  • Able to travel overseas when required for events, meetings, and project-related assignments.
