Position Summary
The Marketing Intern will support the day-to-day activities of the Marketing team by assisting with the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and web platforms. The role involves creating and scheduling content, monitoring social media engagement, conducting market and competitor research, tracking campaign performance, and maintaining marketing documentation and campaign trackers.
Working closely with the Marketing team, the intern will contribute to content preparation, campaign coordination, and other marketing initiatives while gaining practical exposure to digital marketing tools, brand communication, and performance reporting. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience, develop core marketing skills, and offer mentorship in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web platforms
Support social media management, including content creation and scheduling, social sentiment monitoring, and basic engagement reporting
Help with content preparation, including writing captions, creating simple visuals, uploading blogs, and preparing campaign assets
Track key marketing metrics such as reach, engagement, clicks, and conversions, and assist in compiling performance reports
Support campaign coordination tasks, including updating trackers, timelines, and internal documentation
Conduct light market and competitor research as required
Assist senior team members with ad hoc marketing tasks and project support, including but not limited to: event research and coordination
Learning & Development Opportunities
Gain exposure to digital marketing tools and platforms
Learn campaign reporting and basic performance analysis
Build an understanding of brand positioning, messaging, and customer engagement
Receive mentorship and guidance from other members of the marketing team
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts
Willingness to learn and take initiative
Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Google Workspace, or social media platforms is an added advantage
