Marketing Intern - Oncology

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities

Market Research: Conduct thorough research on the oncology market, including competitor analysis, market trends, and customer needs. Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on your findings.

  • Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and informative content for various marketing channels, including social media, blogs, and newsletters. Ensure that all content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with our brand messaging.
  • Campaign Support: Help plan and execute marketing campaigns, including digital and traditional marketing strategies. Monitor campaign performance and provide insights for improvement.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and promoting oncology-related events, such as webinars, conferences, and workshops.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze marketing data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies. Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for future marketing efforts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies. Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.

  • Education and qualifications: ongoing Master’s degree
  • Scientific background with learning agility to understand a specialty therapy area

  • Strong communication skills written, verbal, and presenting to others
  • Strong inter-personal skills and ability to build strong relationships across functions

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :

  • Number of vacancies: 2

  • Start and end dates: January 4th, 2027 to December 23rd, 2027

  • Potential for an earlier start in December 2026 in a part-time and remote model for proactive onboarding, after which resuming to a full-time hybrid model January 2027. Subject to the needs of the team, and availability.

  • Salary: 29$/hour

  • This is a hybrid role – onsite presence at our downtown Toronto office will be at least 10 days per month, determined in collaboration with your manager and based on business needs. You will be eligible to receive a per diem for each day you work on site.

  • Interns are eligible for paid vacation and sick days.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$29/hour

Full-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
