Marketing Intern

Enhancing lives through the power of dance



Summary: Philadelphia Ballet’s Marketing Intern will work closely with the Marketing Department to assist in driving Philadelphia Ballet’s social media efforts while ensuring Philadelphia Ballet’s brand guidelines are followed. The Marketing Intern will generate engaging, on-brand animations, title cards, and animated social media graphics for use across Philadelphia Ballet’s main channels and create content for lobby screens at Philadelphia Ballet’s Center for Dance and animating end slates for TV commercials.

Learning Activities: The Marketing Intern will learn aspects of animating across social media channels. The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to assist in coordinating animated content and following marketing plans for Philadelphia Ballet’s social channels.



Essential Duties:

  • Create compelling animations across Philadelphia Ballet’s accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Animation for these social channels includes paid and organic digital content.
  • Develop content based on social media calendars, brand guidelines, and upcoming productions
  • Use animation software to produce high-quality, on-brand visuals
  • Collaborate with Marketing department to ensure content aligns with campaign objectives
  • Support the Marketing department with additional duties as needed

Required Skills and Experience: The Marketing intern must have background knowledge of the performing arts, strong written and verbal communication skills, experience in animation and animating for social media, and familiarity across social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Hours: 5-10 hours weekly

Pay: The Marketing Intern will be paid a stipend in the amount of $ to help defray out of pocket expenses associated with the position.

Duration: September- December 2026
