Destination Homes, a premier Utah home builder since 2001, specializes in building exceptional homes and creating lasting communities. We are looking for a dynamic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting the Destination Homes Sales & Marketing Department. Under general supervision of the VP of Sales & Marketing and the Marketing Manager, the intern will work on a variety of assignments to provide general and strategic support.

The intern’s assignments will make a positive contribution to Destination Homes as well as give the intern opportunities to gain hands-on work experience with the intent of training the intern for the potential of starting a successful career after graduation.

The internship will be held at Destination Homes’ Sandy, Utah location. This internship is ineligible to receive the employee benefits to which regular company employees are entitled.

Internship Details:

  • Duration: May 10, 2027 – August 6, 2027
  • $22.00 hourly
  • Part-time status (25 -29 hours on average)
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College; preferred majors are marketing, communications, or graphic design
  • Must be able to commute to and from Sandy, Utah office and work in-person

Responsibilities: The Marketing Intern would support the marketing and sales teams with day-to-day execution, coordination, and administrative tasks, including:

  • Updating website content, community information, pricing, promotions, and available-home listings
  • Assisting with email campaigns, social media scheduling, and basic content creation
  • Coordinating marketing materials, signage, photography, and community or model-home needs
  • Supporting events, model-home openings, and other promotional activities
  • Organizing digital assets, vendor information, campaign calendars, and marketing requests
  • Gathering and reporting basic performance data, including website traffic, lead activity, email engagement, and social media results
  • Reviewing marketing materials and online listings for accuracy and brand consistency
  • Assisting in completing market and competitor research as requested

Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily an in-office setting; required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about office setting
  • Must have the ability to read and comprehend large quantities of information, operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry up to 25 lbs. independently
  • To perform other duties as required
