Job Purpose
To plan and ensure execution of marketing campaigns, promotions and events for Bloomingdale’s KSA in full alignment with the policies and procedures of the Al Tayer Group (ATG) and the brand guidelines.
Strategic Roles and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and drive the execution of the omni marketing strategy for Bloomingdale’s KSA, ensuring alignment with ATG and Principals’ direction.
- Provide market, CRM, and competitive insights to inform decision-making and strengthen brand performance.
- Lead integrated campaign planning and performance tracking to ensure effective and measurable execution.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant Principal requirements and guidelines, ensuring adherence to the guidelines across all managed marketing activities.
- Identify opportunities to enhance and build stronger brand equity for all brands represented and make suitable recommendations to the Division Marketing Manager.
- Map competitors’ activities vis a vis communication, pricing, packaging and planning in relation to allocated Al Tayer brand strategy.
- Develop and execute BTL, POS and marketing collateral in line with marketing objectives and ensure quality production of the same.
- Work with CRM team to build relevant initiatives and analytics to support the brand strategy and business.
- Maintain coordination with all ATG stakeholders to ensure full awareness of forthcoming collections, styles and communication opportunities.
- Provide reports to BU and Principals on brand performance, marketing initiatives, customer mix, post event reports after each sponsorship or display activity, etc. as required.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of the archiving system for all executed elements in the marketing calendar.
- Maintain effective working relations and contacts with key external parties, such as vendors and mall management.
- Participate in the development of the Marketing Strategy for the Business Portfolio (BP), ensuring that it is in line with ATG’s and the Principals’ overall strategic direction.
- Work with cross functional teams to align on brand strategy and direction in the relevant region and market.
- Responsible for bringing cohesion to marketing process and campaign reporting across cross functional teams in marketing, ensuring implementation as per agreement with Brand Partners.
- Create, update and maintain the marketing calendar for all promotional initiatives.
- Plan and implement the marketing, promotional plans and campaigns for the BP in close coordination with the BU and ensure compliance to the agreed budget.
People Management Roles and Responsibilities
Guide and motivate indirect reports to enhance performance, deliver quality work, and support their development for higher-level roles.
Years of Experience
6+ years marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role working with or for brand conscious organizations in a relevant retail industry.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of luxury beauty and fashion landscape.
- Proven marketing omnichannel expertise to deliver integrated campaigns and consistent brand impact across store and online channels.
- Effective communication and excellent negotiation skills.
- Extensive collaboration with stakeholders.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Languages
Arabic essential. Must have a good command of English.
