Marketing Manager (FMCG/Personal Care)
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Business Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand and category strategies aligned with market trends, consumer insights, and business objectives.
- Drive long-term brand growth plans while ensuring alignment with category dynamics and consumer preferences.
- Manage annual business planning processes, identifying key growth drivers, business opportunities, and strategic priorities.
- Deliver category revenue, profitability, and market share targets through effective planning and execution.
Marketing & Brand Communication
- Develop and manage the brand experience calendar across the full marketing funnel, including awareness, engagement, conversion, and loyalty initiatives.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, PR, activation, and eCommerce channels.
- Work closely with creative, media, and digital agencies to develop impactful and consumer-centric communication strategies.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness and optimize performance through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Consumer Insights & Data Analytics
- Analyze market intelligence, retail audit data, consumer behavior, brand health metrics, and media performance indicators to generate actionable business insights.
- Translate consumer and market insights into effective marketing strategies, creative briefs, and commercial recommendations.
- Identify market opportunities, implementation barriers, and improvement areas while developing corrective action plans.
Trade Marketing & Omni-channel Collaboration
- Partner closely with Trade Marketing, Sales, and eCommerce teams to strengthen category growth and omni channel execution strategies.
- Support the development of “path-to-purchase” initiatives, including in-store activations, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement programs.
- Collaborate on strategic merchandising and promotional initiatives to enhance brand visibility and conversion across retail and digital platforms.
New Product Development & Launch Management
- Lead and coordinate new product launches and product relaunch initiatives across cross-functional teams.
- Develop launch strategies, business rationale, and commercialization plans for presentation to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure successful execution of product launches.
Financial & Performance Management
- Manage brand budgets and advertising investments effectively to maximize ROI and business impact.
- Monitor brand P&L performance, understanding key drivers impacting sales, profitability, and operating margins.
- Track and report business performance metrics, providing recommendations to optimize commercial outcomes.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of brand management experience within the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience managing integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand growth initiatives.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of brand management, consumer marketing, and category development.
- Digitally savvy with hands-on experience in digital marketing strategies, eCommerce platforms, and agency management.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting retail audit data, consumer panels, brand tracking, and media performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with understanding of brand P&L management and profitability drivers.
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional and regional stakeholder groups.
