Marketing Manager

Job Description

  • Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies to support the company’s growth in the construction industry.
  • Lead marketing initiatives to promote the company’s construction services, projects, capabilities and corporate brand.
  • Conduct market research and analyse construction industry trends, competitor activities, customer needs and potential business opportunities.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, potential clients, strategic partners and industry contacts.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, developers and other industry stakeholders.
  • Develop marketing plans, promotional materials, corporate presentations and proposals for business development and tender opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of tenders, quotations, presentations and client proposals, including market and competitor information.
  • Coordinate with management, project teams and site personnel to understand project requirements and develop suitable marketing and business strategies.
  • Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns and business development activities and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, business discussions, industry events and networking activities.
  • Monitor competitors, pricing trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and potential risks.
  • Manage multiple marketing and business development projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and management expectations.
  • The position involves frequent coordination with construction sites and project teams and may require travelling between different project locations.
  • Be prepared to work in challenging construction-related environments, including outdoor sites, heat, dust, noise and prolonged periods on-site when required.
  • The role can be highly demanding and requires strong resilience, initiative and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Working hours may be long or irregular, with overtime, weekends and public holidays required when necessary to meet business or project demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing is mandatory.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, business development or a related managerial role.
  • Experience in the construction, property, engineering or other project-based industries will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy, business development, market research and client relationship management.
  • Proven ability to identify business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients and business partners.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to prepare professional marketing materials, business proposals, presentations and tender-related documents.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to analyse market conditions and competitor activities.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines and urgent tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must be hardworking, responsible, resilient and willing to take on demanding work assignments.
  • Willing to work across different construction project locations and adapt to challenging site conditions when required.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays according to business and project requirements.
