Marketing Manager
Job Description
- Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies to support the company’s growth in the construction industry.
- Lead marketing initiatives to promote the company’s construction services, projects, capabilities and corporate brand.
- Conduct market research and analyse construction industry trends, competitor activities, customer needs and potential business opportunities.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, potential clients, strategic partners and industry contacts.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, developers and other industry stakeholders.
- Develop marketing plans, promotional materials, corporate presentations and proposals for business development and tender opportunities.
- Support the preparation of tenders, quotations, presentations and client proposals, including market and competitor information.
- Coordinate with management, project teams and site personnel to understand project requirements and develop suitable marketing and business strategies.
- Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns and business development activities and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Represent the company in client meetings, business discussions, industry events and networking activities.
- Monitor competitors, pricing trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and potential risks.
- Manage multiple marketing and business development projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and management expectations.
- The position involves frequent coordination with construction sites and project teams and may require travelling between different project locations.
- Be prepared to work in challenging construction-related environments, including outdoor sites, heat, dust, noise and prolonged periods on-site when required.
- The role can be highly demanding and requires strong resilience, initiative and the ability to work under pressure.
- Working hours may be long or irregular, with overtime, weekends and public holidays required when necessary to meet business or project demands.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing is mandatory.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, business development or a related managerial role.
- Experience in the construction, property, engineering or other project-based industries will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy, business development, market research and client relationship management.
- Proven ability to identify business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients and business partners.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Able to prepare professional marketing materials, business proposals, presentations and tender-related documents.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to analyse market conditions and competitor activities.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines and urgent tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Must be hardworking, responsible, resilient and willing to take on demanding work assignments.
- Willing to work across different construction project locations and adapt to challenging site conditions when required.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays according to business and project requirements.
