Marketing Manager

Red Ember Recruitment is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Communications Manager to join a premium organisation within the hospitality, golf and lifestyle sector.

We are looking for a dynamic, creative and commercially minded marketing professional who can take ownership of the organisation’s marketing, communications and brand strategy. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the brand, driving member and visitor engagement, enhancing the customer experience, supporting revenue growth and ensuring consistent, high-quality communication across all channels. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys combining strategic marketing with creative execution and who is confident managing multiple stakeholders, projects and communication platforms.

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Lead and manage the organisation’s brand, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand identity across all marketing and communication channels.
  • Develop and implement the marketing and communications strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Drive brand awareness, engagement and positioning.
  • Plan, create and publish high-quality marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external marketing and communication initiatives.
  • Ensure all marketing activity aligns with established brand standards and guidelines.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage the organisation’s digital presence, including:
    • Website
    • Social media platforms
    • Email marketing
    • Digital campaigns
  • Develop, implement and optimise lead-generation and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure digital content remains current, engaging, relevant and on brand.
  • Monitor digital engagement and campaign performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital reach, engagement and conversion.

Content & Communications

  • Create engaging marketing and communications content across multiple platforms.
  • Write, edit and proofread:
    • Newsletters
    • Promotional material
    • Website content
    • Social media content
    • Digital communications
    • Marketing collateral
  • Ensure all written communication maintains a professional and consistent brand tone.
  • Coordinate content creation and maintain an effective marketing content calendar.

Public Relations & Reputation Management

  • Manage and enhance the organisation’s public relations profile.
  • Develop positive relationships with members, customers, guests, staff and the wider community.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen brand reputation and public awareness.
  • Ensure communication is professional, accurate and aligned with the organisation’s brand values.

Events & Content Creation

  • Attend events and activations to capture relevant photography, video and other content.
  • Ensure events and initiatives receive appropriate marketing exposure.
  • Develop content for newsletters, social media, websites and other marketing channels.
  • Coordinate with photographers, designers, agencies and other external suppliers where required.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with management and operational teams to understand marketing requirements.
  • Collaborate with relevant business units to identify opportunities for cross-promotion and increased engagement.
  • Understand customer and stakeholder needs and use these insights to improve marketing initiatives and engagement.

Reporting & Analytic

  • Monitor, analyse and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and communication activities.
  • Track relevant marketing and digital performance indicators.
  • Evaluate campaign results and recommend improvements.
  • Use data and market insights to support future marketing decisions.
  • Report on marketing activity, engagement and campaign performance to management.


Requirements

  • Recognised degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration (Marketing) or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ progressive experience in a marketing, communications or brand management role.
  • Proven experience managing digital marketing channels.
  • Experience managing social media platforms, website content and email marketing.
  • Proven experience writing, editing and proofreading marketing content.
  • Experience developing and implementing marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of brand management and marketing communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
