Marketing Manager – Vacation Sales and Marketing

We are seeking a Marketing Manager – Vacation Sales and Marketing to join our dynamic team and play a key role in supporting the Property Sales function within our organisation. Role Overview:

The Marketing Manager leads the Sales and Marketing operation, with direct oversight of the Encore Marketing Department and Sales Administrative Team, ensuring departmental activities are aligned with The Crane’s sales, marketing and revenue objectives. The role provides strategic direction, supports sales and marketing initiatives and events, generates qualified leads for the resort’s ownership and lifestyle programmes, and ensures a seamless, personalised guest experience. The position also provides operational and administrative support, promotes team engagement and accountability, and ensures accurate reporting, effective coordination and service excellence across the department.

Main Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience

  • Deliver a personalised and exceptional guest experience from pre-arrival through departure.
  • Anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns and promote guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Coordinate personalised guest experiences, including dining, transportation, activities and spa services.


Sales & Revenue

  • Lead the Sales and Marketing operation in achieving departmental sales and revenue targets.
  • Generate qualified leads and promote return visit packages and Lifestyle Resort Preview experiences.
  • Support sales and marketing events and identify opportunities for long-term ownership conversion.
  • Monitor sales performance, tour flow and guest engagement.

Team & Operations

  • Provide direction, training and operational support to the Encore Marketing and Sales Administrative Teams.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient daily operations.
  • Maintain effective processes for reservations, scheduling, guest information and departmental communication.


Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure sales, guest and operational records are accurate, complete and up to date.
  • Provide timely reporting and feedback on sales performance, guest trends and operational opportunities.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, approved processes and service standards.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of guest, owner and company information.


Additional Duties

  • Support departmental initiatives and perform other duties as assigned to achieve organisational objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Hospitality Studies, Tourism, Business, Marketing or a related discipline preferred.
  • Relevant sales, marketing or hospitality certification would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident sales ability with a guest-first approach.
  • Ability to confidently present products, services, amenities and experiences.
  • Strong consultative selling and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish meaningful relationships with guests.

Desired Qualities:

  • Previous experience in an Assistant Manager role or higher, preferably within luxury hospitality, resort operations or a related customer-facing environment.
  • Experience leading or supervising a sales, marketing, guest services or customer experience team.
  • Experience in sales, guest relations, concierge, tourism or similar customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in vacation ownership, membership sales or lifestyle products would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Barbados tourism products and experiences.
  • Experience using Opera PMS, VOICE or similar hospitality systems.
  • Guest-focused, service-oriented and committed to delivering excellence.
  • Professional, well-presented and confident in engaging with guests and colleagues.
  • Personable and relationship-driven, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented and accountable for achieving objectives.
