Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, business development or sales within the construction, engineering or building industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Singapore construction market and industry practices will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of construction services, projects and tendering processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Able to develop and maintain relationships with clients and business partners.
- Good presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in digital marketing, social media marketing and content development is an advantage.
- Able to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with internal teams.
- Willing to travel for client meetings, site visits and business development activities when required.
- Strong initiative, positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Mandarin or other languages is an advantage for communication with clients and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the company’s construction services, projects and capabilities.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the construction and building industry.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors and potential target markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, developers, consultants and business partners.
- Generate new leads and follow up with prospective clients to develop business opportunities.
- Prepare company presentations, project profiles, marketing materials and proposals.
- Coordinate with the project, technical and management teams to ensure accurate presentation of construction capabilities and project information.
- Support the preparation and submission of tenders, quotations and business proposals where required.
- Attend meetings, site visits, industry events and networking activities to promote the company.
- Manage the company’s marketing channels, including website, social media and other relevant platforms.
- Monitor marketing campaigns and evaluate their effectiveness in generating leads and business opportunities.
- Maintain a database of clients, prospects and business contacts.
- Prepare regular marketing and business development reports for management.
- Perform other marketing and business development duties as assigned by management.
