Marketing Operations & Data Analytics Manager
Description
Backed by top tier funds, recently out of stealth, we're hiring the person who runs the systems behind our marketing: the data, the flow and the tooling behind every meeting we book.
We built a lot in year one. Now it needs an owner: someone who understands how the work actually flows before changing how it runs, keeps the machine honest, and uses AI as naturally as a keyboard. And when there's no tool for it, makes it happen anyway.
About Way
Every large organization has applications its identity stack never reached: legacy systems, homegrown tools, apps that don't speak modern standards. Way connects them to the IAM stack already in place, without replacing it. We are selling to CISOs and Heads of IAM at US enterprises and have some of the best people in the industry working with us.
About the role
- Own marketing operations end to end: data quality, lead flow and the reporting the whole team runs on.
- You join an engine that is part working, part blank page: some channels run live today (outreach, enrichment pipelines, active field marketing motion), others don't exist yet and you will design them from scratch with their owners in demand gen, field marketing, product marketing and BDR.
- You are the connector of systems, processes and people: you know when to build, when to fix, and when to bring the owner into the loop before anything moves.
What you'll do
- Map the workflow before you touch it. Understand how marketing, BDRs and sales actually work, then make the systems match the process, never the other way around.
- Make things happen beyond the tools: find the root cause, not the symptom, get the right people moving and manage it to done, with or without AI in the loop.
- Work in HubSpot every day: lists, forms, marketing workflows and reports. Partner with the system owner on stages, properties and routing, so every lead lands, gets qualified and reaches an owner with a next step.
- Keep account and contact data clean, deduplicated and enriched enough to act on.
- Build and run the workflows that identify, enrich and prioritize the accounts and contacts that matter, ready for the channel owners to activate.
- Run the systems behind events and webinars: lists before, capture during, follow-up flows after, so no conversation is lost.
- Instrument the funnel end to end and maintain the dashboards the team runs on: funnel, meetings, conversion and cost per meeting, with numbers the channel owners trust.
- Measure what each play actually produced and fold the learnings back into the next one.
- Report on results in a language the team acts on: what worked, what didn't, and where the funnel leaks.
- Catch a broken sync or a stuck lead before a person does, and get it fixed with the system owner.
- Put AI to work across the stack, and know when a deterministic workflow or a human checkpoint is the better answer.
- Set marketing's standards across our tools: data quality, naming, documentation, and where a human stays in the loop.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- A get-shit-done attitude: you make things happen. A roadblock means finding the way around and unblocking, not only reporting it.
- Friendly with reports: you read the numbers and tell the story behind them. Financial and pipeline analysis is a huge plus.
- 5+ years in marketing, revenue or GTM operations in B2B SaaS, and you've run ops or cross-system projects at scale: real volume, multiple tools, and a team that depended on what you ran. Hands-on, not just governing.
- Hands-on with HubSpot at the level of objects, properties, workflows and routing, not just the UI. You know how to get what you need from a system owned by another team.
- You map a process before you automate it, and you can say no to automating a broken one.
- AI is how you work, not a line on your resume: assistants and tools like Claude or Claude Code in your daily workflow, and a point of view on where AI belongs in a revenue system.
- Comfortable with APIs, webhooks and data flows: what to do when a sync fails silently overnight.
- If you write light Python or JavaScript when a workflow needs glue no tool provides - that’s a plus. Not a must.
- Experience with enrichment, outbound, routing or lead-generation systems.
- High ownership: you take a problem from idea to production and it stays fixed.
