Marketing Operations Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager based in the United States.
This is a strategic, analytical role responsible for building the reporting and operational infrastructure that enables Marketing leadership to make better decisions.
You will own marketing performance measurement across the funnel, pipeline, bookings, campaigns, and ROI.
The role connects Marketing with Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, and Data Engineering across multiple business units.
You will turn complex business questions into scalable reporting frameworks, standardized processes, and actionable insights.
You will also help advance AI-enabled reporting and automation to improve efficiency and decision-making.

Accountabilities:
- Own and analyze marketing performance across the funnel, pipeline, marketing-originated bookings, campaign effectiveness, budget performance, and marketing ROI, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Ensure accurate and timely performance scorecarding for lead-to-opportunity conversion, marketing-originated bookings, ROMI, and other critical metrics across multiple business units.
- Own the Marketing reporting suite within the centralized business intelligence environment, maintaining accurate, relevant, and business-aligned dashboards and reports.
- Partner with Data Engineering to define reporting requirements, prioritize enhancements, conduct business acceptance testing, and validate delivered solutions.
- Establish and maintain standardized reporting documentation, metric definitions, business logic, and measurement frameworks covering attribution, lead scoring, pipeline source mix, campaign performance, and ROI.
- Develop and improve standard operating procedures that increase the efficiency, consistency, and scalability of Marketing Operations across business units.
- Optimize lead enrichment, qualification, routing, and marketing-to-sales handoff processes to improve data quality and conversion.
- Design and manage go-to-market cadences that align Marketing, Sales Development, and Sales teams around effective execution and pipeline growth.
- Support AI-enabled reporting and business insights, including automated reporting workflows and AI-generated summaries, while identifying additional opportunities for automation.
- Provide operational support to the Sales Development function through reporting, activity data, and program cadences while partnering with Sales Operations where appropriate.
- Act as a trusted operational advisor to Marketing leadership, translating complex data into clear recommendations and coordinating improvements across Marketing, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, and Data Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Analytics, Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence, or another analytical/technical discipline.
- Strong data analytics and business intelligence reporting experience, ideally working within a centralized BI environment such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI, combined with advanced Excel modeling capabilities.
- Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
- Strong understanding of demand generation metrics, including lead qualification and conversion, marketing-sourced pipeline, marketing-originated bookings, attribution, and marketing ROI.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions while partnering effectively with technical teams such as Data Engineering.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
- Proven experience collaborating with Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and business-unit leadership.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights for both centralized and business-unit stakeholders.
- A highly analytical, curious, and results-oriented mindset, with an ability to solve ambiguous business problems through data, processes, and technology.
- Experience supporting multiple business units through a centralized Marketing Operations or Revenue Operations function is preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL or the ability to work effectively with Data Engineering teams on technical reporting requirements is a plus.
- Exposure to AI-assisted reporting, business intelligence automation, generative AI, or other emerging technologies is advantageous.
- Experience supporting Sales Development operations, including activity reporting, tooling, and program cadences, is also a plus.
