Marketing Operations Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager based in United States.

This is a strategic, data-driven role supporting the growth and scalability of a global B2B demand generation engine.
You will help optimize campaign execution, lead management, funnel performance, attribution, and marketing technology.
Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Data & Analytics teams, you will connect systems and processes to business outcomes.
The role combines hands-on marketing automation with process design, data governance, and operational improvement.
You will help build scalable workflows, improve pipeline visibility, and create more predictable revenue performance.

Accountabilities

  • Partner with Demand Generation teams to execute, optimize, and scale integrated campaigns across digital, webinars, events, content syndication, and account-based marketing channels.
  • Build and manage campaign workflows, audience segmentation, nurture programs, automation processes, and scalable campaign templates.
  • Maintain campaign governance, quality assurance standards, and operational best practices while monitoring campaign performance and identifying opportunities to improve pipeline generation and conversion.
  • Support organizational changes, territory realignments, and go-to-market initiatives through scalable lead routing and assignment processes using LeanData.
  • Administer and optimize marketing technology, including Marketo, Marketo Measure, Salesforce, and related platforms, while supporting integrations, data synchronization, and system governance.
  • Develop operational workflows, program templates, tokens, reporting frameworks, and documentation that improve consistency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations leadership to evaluate and implement new marketing technologies and AI-powered workflows that streamline campaign execution, reporting, and operational processes.
  • Align Marketing and Sales processes around lead scoring, qualification, routing, lifecycle stages, funnel definitions, and service-level agreements.
  • Ensure effective lead handoffs between Marketing, SDRs, and Sales and support complex organizations with multiple territories, segments, and routing requirements.
  • Analyze funnel and channel performance, campaign ROI, conversion rates, pipeline velocity, attribution, and marketing contribution to pipeline, bookings, and revenue.
  • Maintain strong database health and data quality through deduplication, enrichment, normalization, segmentation, and data hygiene initiatives.
  • Partner with Operations and Data & Analytics teams to establish data governance policies and operational standards while supporting compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and applicable privacy requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen marketing effectiveness and revenue generation.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve forecasting, pipeline visibility, and revenue performance.
  • Requirements

    • 4+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Demand Generation, Operations, or a related function within a B2B software organization.
    • Advanced expertise with Marketo, including administration, campaign operations, lead lifecycle management, and reporting.
    • Strong Salesforce CRM experience across leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, campaigns, and related processes.
    • Deep understanding of B2B demand generation programs, marketing funnels, lead management, and opportunity lifecycle processes.
    • Hands-on experience with LeanData, including lead routing, account matching, territory assignment, and workflow optimization.
    • Experience supporting complex sales organizations with multiple territories, segments, and routing requirements.
    • Strong knowledge of data quality, database health, data integrations, and marketing data governance.
    • Familiarity with attribution platforms such as Marketo Measure and revenue intelligence solutions.
    • Demonstrated experience using AI tools, automation platforms, or advanced analytics to improve marketing performance, operational efficiency, or decision-making.
    • Experience partnering directly with Marketing and Sales leaders and translating business needs into scalable operational solutions.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to measuring performance and identifying opportunities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and bring clarity to cross-functional initiatives.
    • Highly organized, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
