Marketing Program Manager, Fulfilled by Staples

We use customer data and analytics to help us understand and improve our customers’ experiences, drive customer retention and encourage brand loyalty. Our team is diverse, with skillsets and responsibilities ranging from graphic design, content creation and performance marketing to internal communications and loyalty & rewards programs. We work together to provide expertise and guidance, so that the Staples brand is well represented in all areas.
What you will be doing:
• Develop targeted campaigns using customer insights to drive repurchase, growth, and retention.
• Define customer targets, forecast campaign impact, and prioritize initiatives based on business value.
• Create messaging strategies grounded in customer wants, needs, and behaviors.
• Partner with channel owners and cross-functional teams to activate cohesive campaigns across email, SMS, digital media, direct mail, and site touchpoints.
• Expand the library of personalized messages and experiences across customer touchpoints.
• Lead SMS and direct mail strategies designed to deliver profitable return on investment.
• Build and execute test-and-learn plans, scaling initiatives that demonstrate strong results.
• Oversee tactical execution to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on time.
• Partner with Customer Analytics to establish measurement plans and KPIs, evaluate campaign performance, and translate findings into action.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and internal and external stakeholders to align marketing strategies with broader business priorities.
• Support innovation and continuous improvement by helping advance new marketing technologies, methods, and ways of working.

What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of related professional experience, including experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Experience supporting or managing marketing campaigns, programs, or customer-focused initiatives.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience.
• Previous customer marketing experience, including campaign strategy, targeting, personalization, or lifecycle marketing.
• Experience working with customer data, analytics, campaign measurement, and KPIs.
• Experience activating campaigns across multiple channels such as email, SMS, digital media, direct mail, and website experiences.
