Marketing Project Manager/Coordinator

Open 7d

A US digital marketing agency in the San Francisco Bay Area is hiring a Marketing Project Coordinator through Remote Raven. The agency runs blog, website, SEO and email programmes for professional-services firms, and it is small enough that everyone can see what everyone else is doing.

This is the role that keeps all of it moving. You own the task board, you write and copy edit the content that goes out under the clients' names, you review their websites and tell the developers what is wrong, and you are the person the client emails when they want to know where something is. The agency has a small senior team and a lot of concurrent work, which is exactly why this seat exists.

It takes a particular kind of person. Not the fastest writer and not the most technical coordinator, but the one who notices on Wednesday that Friday is not going to happen, and says so on Wednesday.

Task and Project Coordination — ClickUp

  • Own task management in ClickUp, keeping the team and clients on track with deadlines, reminders and follow-ups
  • Follow up proactively on open tasks so that nothing slips and no one is left waiting
  • Support the team in running multiple active projects at once across several client accounts
  • Build meeting agendas and drive follow-through on action items with cross-functional teams

Content Writing and Copy Editing

  • Write and produce blog content and website copy using Copy.ai from SEO outlines. This is a core, recurring weekly responsibility, not an occasional one
  • Copy edit all content so it is polished, accurate and publish-ready on blogs and websites
  • Support the SEO team with content coordination, tracking and deadline management

Website QA and Review

  • Review client websites on both mobile and desktop, flagging problems and suggestions for the web development team
  • Run QA testing on new websites across the stages of development
  • Light UX and content checks. You are not making the changes yourself, you are identifying and communicating what needs to be addressed

Client Communication

  • Write client-facing emails and answer inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Follow up with clients by email or phone as needed to keep projects moving
  • Represent the agency with a polished, confident and solution-oriented communication style

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years in program or project coordination inside a digital agency, SaaS company or marketing operations team
  • Hands-on ClickUp experience in a paid role. No training is provided on the platform
  • Daily working use of an AI writing tool such as Copy.ai to produce blog and website copy from SEO outlines
  • Demonstrable copy editing and proofreading ability in US English to a publish-ready standard
  • Experience reviewing websites on mobile and desktop and writing up defects clearly enough for a developer to act on
  • Confident written and spoken English, including live client calls
  • Availability to work a full US Pacific-time schedule, including a standing team meeting every Monday at 8:00 AM Pacific

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency experience across several client accounts at once, rather than a single in-house brand
  • WordPress and Elementor familiarity, enough to describe a defect precisely in a developer's terms
  • Mailchimp or comparable email platform experience, including reading campaign performance
  • Comfort reading marketing numbers: traffic, conversion, open and click rates, and writer capacity

Tools and Software

  • ClickUp (primary)
  • Copy.ai
  • WordPress and Elementor
  • Mailchimp
  • Google Workspace
  • Zoom and Slack
  • Phone and video client calls

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • You see both the whole programme and the individual task, and you can hold several client projects at once without losing the thread
  • You chase the thing that has gone quiet before anyone has to ask you where it is
  • You write clearly and you edit other people's writing without ego
  • You treat an AI draft as a draft, and you check anything you would not be willing to put your own name to
  • You spot a gap in a process and you close it rather than reporting it
  • You are calm and specific with a client who is unhappy, and you give them a date rather than a reassurance
  • Deadlines steady you rather than stress you
