Drive business growth by conducting market research and developing strategic partnerships in the semiconductor industry. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product planning and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analyze semiconductor industry trends to identify customer needs and business opportunities
- Identify and develop potential customers, distributors, subcontractors, and strategic business partners to expand market reach
- Prepare market intelligence reports and presentations to support strategic business planning
- Collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams to align product planning with market strategies
- Coordinate customer visits, exhibitions, and marketing activities to strengthen customer and partner relationships
- Support after-sales service by coordinating customer follow-up with Engineering and Service teams
- Manage overseas travel for customer visits, service support, exhibitions, and business development activities
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industry
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organisational skills demonstrated through customer engagement and reporting
- Analytical skills to interpret market data and identify business opportunities
- Proficiency in English to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel overseas for customer support, exhibitions, and business development
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with South Asian business culture (added advantage)
