Marketing Specialist

OVERVIEW: Join an award-winning Corporate Marketing team! McKim & Creed is a leading top 200 ENR-ranked firm and this marketing professional will assist with and execute marketing strategies and exciting creative marketing campaigns to grow our business. As a key member of our marketing team, you will assist with the following: project proposal development, graphic design support, and database management.

DURING YOUR WORK-DAY, YOU WILL:

  • Maintaining, writing, creating, and organizing marketing materials including project sheets, resumes, project lists, and related collateral.
  • Support proposal and qualification package development including coordination, content development, compliance reviews, production, and delivery.
  • Provide graphic design assistance.
  • Collaborate with technical staff, project managers, and business development leaders to develop compelling marketing and pursuit materials while ensuring messaging is consistent with the firm's brand, strategic goals, and marketing objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, demographic data, and other relevant factors to evaluate marketing and communication effectiveness, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain and update marketing and business development databases, ensuring accurate project, client, pursuit, and resume information.
  • Attend industry meetings, conferences, and tradeshows.
  • Additional research or special projects as needed.
  • Some travel may be required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 1-3 years of marketing-related experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields required: Marketing, Communications, English, or Journalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and digital productivity tools; experience with AI-enabled technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM or marketing database platforms (Deltek Vantagepoint experience a plus).
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
  • Positive, can-do attitude; flexible and self-motivated; able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Creative, well-organized, and capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and being proactive.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure within tight deadline situations.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
  • Collaborative team player who is responsive and open to feedback.
