About Us
Meditology Services is a top-ranked provider of information risk management, cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory compliance consulting services exclusively for healthcare organizations. We service hundreds of healthcare clients coast-to-coast. Our core values are rooted in accountability, quality, adaptability, collaboration, and drive.
Position Description:
Meditology is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Specialist to own execution of the marketing content calendar and event/sponsorship program, with a strong focus on content, social media, and event marketing. This role plays a key part in driving the day-to-day activities that keep our marketing engine running — from owning the content calendar and coordinating LinkedIn campaigns, to identifying, negotiating, and executing conferences, trade shows, and sponsorships — while also contributing to broader marketing operations and campaigns.
Following an initial 90-day onboarding period, this role is expected to operate with significant autonomy, executing the Digital Content Calendar and Event Planning program end-to-end with limited day-to-day involvement from the Sr. Marketing Manager, and exercising independent judgment to make decisions in accordance with Meditology's business needs and value-creation priorities. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and comfortable exercising independent judgment while juggling multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
Content Calendar Ownership
• Own and execute the marketing content calendar; following the initial 90-day period, independently determine content priorities, sequencing, and publication timing in line with Meditology's business objectives.
• Partner with the Sr. Marketing Manager and content planning tools to develop content, including but not limited to blogs, infographics, white papers, and checklists.
• Coordinate deadlines for blogs, social media, email campaigns, webinars, and other marketing initiatives.
• Conduct content reviews with internal subject matter experts.
• Ensure content moves through the review and approval process on schedule.
• Exercise final approval and publishing authority over monthly social media content, using independent judgment to determine what content best serves audience engagement and business goals.
Social Media Coordination
• Prepare and schedule LinkedIn content.
• Determine and execute LinkedIn boost strategy within approved budget parameters.
• Monitor engagement and compile monthly performance metrics, using judgment to recommend adjustments to future content and spend.
Event & Sponsorship Program Ownership
• Independently research, evaluate, and select the conferences, trade shows, webinars, sponsorships, and speaking engagements that align with Meditology's target audience and business goals, and decide on Meditology's participation.
• Own event logistics end-to-end, including registrations, shipping, promotional materials, vendor communication, and event timelines.
• Create and maintain a project plan with a task timeline for each event to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and sponsorship packages with event vendors and venues within an approved budget, exercising independent judgment to commit the company to agreements without case-by-case pre-approval.
• Work with Sales and Delivery teams to coordinate pre-event and post-event outreach.
• Compile post-event summaries and performance metrics, and make recommendations on which events to repeat, adjust, or discontinue — feeding directly into Meditology's annual event strategy.
• Following the initial 90-day period, lead execution of Meditology's annual event strategy with limited day-to-day involvement from the Sr. Marketing Manager.
Marketing Support
• Maintain and organize marketing assets and resource libraries.
• Assist with the execution and maintenance of HubSpot marketing initiatives, including emails, landing pages, forms, and event contacts.
• Support day-to-day marketing operations and special projects as assigned.
• Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns as directed.
• Learn and stay current on AI tools that support work automation and increase productivity (e.g., Claude).
Autonomy & Decision-Making
• During the first 90 days, this role will work closely with the Sr. Marketing Manager to learn Meditology's brand standards, approved budget parameters, and business priorities.
• After the initial 90-day period, the Specialist is expected to run the Digital Content Calendar and Event Planning function with limited day-to-day oversight, exercising independent judgment to determine which content, events, and vendor commitments best serve Meditology's business needs and value-creation objectives.
• Escalation to the Sr. Marketing Manager is expected only for matters outside approved budget, brand standards, or established business priorities.
