What We Are Looking For

GVEC is looking to hire you for the position of Marketing Strategist to deliver the unexpected with a willingness to continuously develop yourself, your department, and our organization. We are seeking a full-time Marketing Strategist to collect, analyze, and interpret data on consumer behavior, market trends and opportunities, as well as competitor activities. You will tell the story of our marketing efforts and results through data visualization to drive business decisions and marketing plan changes for more effective results.

Your Pay

The minimum starting pay for this role is $32.00/hr plus bonuses that are tied to a multitude of organizational benchmarks set forth annually. Pay will be determined by skills, qualifications and experience.

How You’ll Help

• Identify and collect relevant data sources required to track marketing campaign performance and results
• Implement mechanisms to report and measure progress against specific campaign goals and KPIs
• Perform planned and ad hoc analysis and research to pinpoint insights that help the marketing team meet campaign requirements and identify opportunities for strengthening results
• Report results using visualization techniques to support analysis and make complex data easy for the creative team and management to understand
• Perform marketing research as needed to support departmental goals and initiatives

Experience/Skills You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, analytics or a similar focus
• Skilled in use of modern data analysis tools and visualization software such as Excel, Power BI, and AI tools
• Analytical aptitude and attention to detail, with the ability to leverage marketing analytics to develop actionable recommendations that support various lines of business
• General knowledge of the marketing funnel, various supporting channels, and lead generation tactics
• Ability to use data to tell a campaign performance story and communicate complex ideas in an understandable way
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and business partners

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Experience with market analysis and segmentation best practices
• Knowledge of digital marketing metrics
