Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team in the Greater Buffalo/ Erie PA area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical sales, with specific knowledge of CNC machining and heat treat processes. This role requires a strong hunter mentality, excellent marketing skills, and the ability to persuasively communicate complex technical information to close sales effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Greater Buffalo / Erie PA region. Erie County New York and Erie County PA.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the CNC machining and heat treat industries.
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored technical solutions to meet their requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
• Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and marketing materials.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within CNC machining and heat treat sectors.
• Strong hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to generate new leads and close sales.
• Excellent marketing skills with the ability to create persuasive sales presentations.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts clearly and translate into customer value.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with the Greater Buffalo market and customer base is a plus.
• You must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel (some overnight travel required)
