Role Summary

We're looking for a hands-on WordPress Website Manager to own our public-facing website end-to-end. This person will be responsible for the performance, security, user experience, SEO, content publishing, and ongoing development of our WordPress website. They will work across Marketing, Design, Product Marketing, and Legal to ensure the website is a high-performing growth channel that delivers an exceptional user experience and drives business results.

The impact you’ll have

Take full ownership of our website, including ongoing web maintenance — stewarding the health of the repository, including its structure, CMS integrity and security posture (pen tests)

  • Manage, maintain, and enhance our WordPress website and ecosystem.

  • Develop and customize WordPress themes, templates, and page layouts.

  • Follow frontend best practices for maintainability, accessibility, and performance.

  • Ensure crossbrowser compatibility, accessibility standards, and basic web performance best practices are met.

  • Configure and manage plugins while ensuring security, compatibility, and performance.

  • Build landing pages and campaign experiences using WordPress page builders and custom code where required.

  • Own website integrations with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, consent management, and tracking platforms.

  • Manage hosting environments, website releases, backups, uptime monitoring, and security updates.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with external vendors when needed.

  • Test and QA pages across devices, browsers, and breakpoints.

  • Support SEO through strong on-page execution: metadata, headings, internal linking, page hierarchy

  • Ensure pages are structured, tagged, and published in line with brand, UX, accessibility, and SEO best practices

  • Own day-to-day website content management across our core site

  • Partner with Content, Product Marketing, Design, Legal, and SEO to deliver new pages and campaigns

  • Apply content, legal, and regulatory updates accurately and at pace

  • Assist with tagging, cookies, consent management, and basic event tracking validation.

  • Monitor site performance (traffic, engagement, conversion) and identify optimization opportunities

  • Act as a guardian of consistency, usability, and clarity across the website

What we’re looking for

Core experience

  • 3-5+ years managing and developing WordPress websites.

  • Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, hosting, and performance optimization.

  • You have experience in building and optimizing landing pages

  • Comfortable writing and troubleshooting PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Proven ability to improve website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates through continuous optimization.

  • Experience owning a corporate marketing website end-to-end

  • You care about craft - especially polish and user experience

  • You are comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, design, product, and legal teams

  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused

SEO & optimization

Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals (on-page SEO, site structure, accessibility)

  • Strong understanding of site architecture, internal linking, crawl and indexation

  • Confident with performance, Core Web Vitals, page speed, JS rendering

  • Experienced with structured data and schema

  • Comfortable with crawlers, log file analysis and rendering tools

  • Demonstrable use of AI in your technical SEO workflow

Nice to have

  • Experience in B2B, SaaS, fintech, or regulated industries
