Martech Product Manager

Summary

Owns the product roadmap for a marketing CMS platform, partnering with marketing and engineering teams to deliver scalable content management, personalization, and publishing capabilities.

The Martech Product Manager partners with Marketing, Digital, Personalization, Analytics, UX, and Technology teams to define and deliver the roadmap for Marketing Content Management System (CMS). This role is responsible for the strategy, planning, prioritization, and execution of platform capabilities that enable marketers to efficiently create, manage, personalize, and publish marketing content and landing pages across Hyatt's digital ecosystem.

The Martech Product Manager serves as the product owner for Marketing CMS platform, balancing business priorities, user experience, technical modernization, and operational excellence while collaborating with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for Marketing CMS platform.

• Partner with Marketing, Digital, Content Operations, Personalization, CRM, Creative, and Technology teams to understand business objectives and translate them into scalable platform capabilities.

• Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business value, technical dependencies, and strategic priorities.

• Lead product discovery activities including stakeholder interviews, user research, workflow analysis, and feature prioritization.

• Write and maintain product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release documentation.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, QA, and Architecture teams throughout the Agile development lifecycle.

• Drive enhancements supporting marketing content authoring, landing page creation, reusable content components, personalization, publishing workflows, localization, and content governance.

• Partner with Marketing and Content Operations teams to improve campaign velocity, content reuse, and marketer productivity.

• Define success metrics, monitor platform adoption, analyze user feedback, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Support integrations with CRM, CDP, Digital Asset Management (DAM), personalization, analytics, and marketing automation solutions.

• Represent the Marketing CMS platform with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Promote enterprise adoption of platform capabilities and demonstrate core values.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills –

• Strong communication skills with business and technical audiences.

• Experience as a Product Manager supporting enterprise marketing technology, CMS, or digital experience platforms.

• Proven ability to define product vision, prioritize roadmaps, and deliver enterprise software products.

• Experience managing Agile product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Strong understanding of CMS platforms, personalization, digital marketing, and customer experience technologies.

• Experience working with Engineering, UX, Marketing, Analytics, and Architecture teams.

• Ability to make data-driven prioritization decisions.

• Strong stakeholder management and organizational skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Sitecore, Optimizely, or similar CMS platforms.

• Experience with CDPs, DAM, CRM, personalization, or marketing automation platforms.

• Familiarity with API integrations and headless CMS architecture.

• Experience with SEO, accessibility, and content governance.

• Hospitality, travel, loyalty, e-commerce, or customer experience

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

This is a Product Management role, not a Content Manager role. Candidates should demonstrate experience owning product strategy, delivery, and roadmap planning for CMS or marketing technology platforms.

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
