What You'll Build

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan masonry work accurately.

• Measure, layout, and establish guidelines for precise construction and restoration.

• Mix mortar, grout, and cement-based materials for proper application and performance.

• Lay brick, block, stone, and other masonry materials to construct walls, floors, chimneys, and structural elements.

• Shape, cut, trim, and finish masonry materials using hand and power tools.

• Repair, restore, and maintain masonry structures to extend service life and preserve appearance.

• Install and work from scaffolding while maintaining strict safety standards.

• Inspect existing structures and identify repair or replacement needs.

• Collaborate with project teams to deliver quality work on schedule and within project requirements.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.

• Communicate with clients and provide recommendations for long-term preservation and maintenance.
