Job Description
· We are seeking an experienced ODM Materials Manager to lead material readiness, supply execution, and production support across strategic manufacturing partners supporting complex technology hardware programs.
· The role will have end-to-end ownership of material availability, supply continuity, CTB readiness, MRP alignment, material risk management, and recovery actions.
· The successful candidate will work closely with ODM planning, procurement, and manufacturing teams, as well as internal engineering, operations, logistics, NPI, and commodity teams.
· This is a highly operational and execution-focused role requiring strong ownership, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive timely resolution of supply constraints.
Key Responsibilities
· Own end-to-end material readiness and supply continuity for assigned ODM partners and technology hardware programs.
· Drive ODM accountability for build commitments, material availability, and production readiness.
· Conduct regular business reviews with ODM planning and procurement teams to review build schedules, material health, constraints, and supply risks.
· Drive MRP alignment between demand requirements and ODM material planning systems.
· Manage Commit-to-Build (CTB) cycles by tracking material availability against production plans and identifying gating components.
· Manage complex, multi-level BOMs and translate material constraints into actionable mitigation and recovery plans.
· Monitor inventory health, excess and obsolete (E&O) exposure, material transitions, and supply risks.
· Identify potential shortages and constraints proactively and drive recovery actions with clear owners and timelines.
· Partner with NPI, engineering, procurement, commodity management, logistics, and operations teams to resolve material and production issues.
· Escalate unresolved supply constraints and provide clear visibility of risks, recovery plans, and overall material health to senior leadership.
· Support production ramps and ensure material readiness across key manufacturing milestones.
· Maintain accurate material risk reports, dashboards, trackers, and executive-level supply updates.
· Build strong working relationships with ODM planning, procurement, manufacturing, and supplier teams across the APAC region.
· Drive continuous improvement in material planning, supply execution, risk management, and ODM operational processes.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in materials management, supply chain execution, manufacturing operations, or ODM program environments within the technology industry.
· Strong hands-on experience working with ODM planning, procurement, and manufacturing teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
· Proven experience owning material readiness, supply execution, and production support.
· Strong experience with BOM management, CTB processes, MRP, material planning, and inventory management. Strong understanding of demand planning, supply planning, material availability, and manufacturing execution.
· Mandarin proficiency is required due to regular communication with Mandarin-speaking ODM partners and suppliers across APAC.
· Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
· Ability to drive accountability, manage competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and execute under tight timelines.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable supply decisions.
·
Preferred Qualifications

· Familiarity with rack-level assemblies, system integration, and hardware manufacturing supply chains.
· Experience managing ODM supply chain operations across Taiwan, China, and APAC.
· Experience with large-scale technology hardware organizations or ODM ecosystems. APICS/ASCM certification such as CSCP or CPIM is an advantage.
