The Chattanoogan Hotel, a Curio Collection by Hilton property and part of Ascent Hospitality, is seeking a professional, guest-focused Massage Therapist to join our team.

Spa Hours of Operation- Our Spa offers a welcoming environment for guests seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.

• Tuesday–Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Monday: Closed

You can share the days and times you are available to accept appointments within our Spa's operating hours, giving you greater flexibility to balance work and personal commitments while serving hotel guests.

What You Will Do

• Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to guests' needs, preferences, and wellness goals.

• Perform a variety of massage techniques based on training, experience, and guest requests.

• Consult with guests before each session to understand their preferences, identify areas of concern, and determine appropriate treatment approaches.

• Maintain professional boundaries, guest confidentiality, and a welcoming, respectful environment at all times.

• Prepare treatment rooms before appointments, ensuring cleanliness, comfort, proper lighting, and a relaxing atmosphere.

• Sanitize massage equipment and treatment surfaces and replace linens and supplies between appointments in accordance with established hygiene standards.

• Explain available massage services, treatment options, and wellness offerings to guests in a professional and informative manner.

• Monitor guest comfort throughout each session and adjust techniques or pressure based on feedback.

• Maintain accurate appointment records and complete required service documentation.

• Communicate effectively with Spa and hotel team members regarding scheduling, guest requests, and operational needs.

• Maintain knowledge of massage techniques, wellness practices, and applicable professional standards.

• Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and applicable licensing and professional regulations.

What We Are Looking For

• Current, valid massage therapy license or credential required under applicable Tennessee law.

• Previous massage therapy experience preferred; experience in a spa, resort, or upscale hotel environment is a plus.

• Knowledge of massage techniques, body mechanics, and appropriate treatment practices.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for guest service.

• Ability to create a calm, professional, and welcoming environment for guests.

• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and appointment scheduling skills.

• Commitment to maintaining guest privacy, professional ethics, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of massage therapy, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Availability to accept appointments during the Spa's operating hours, including weekends as applicable.

• A dependable, professional, and team-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
