Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring technical excellence across the entire product lifecycle, from solution conception and design to production support.
- Act as a knowledge multiplier, mentoring other developers and serving as the primary technical voice in decision‑making.
- Ensure applications are instrumented to capture metrics, logs, and performance data, leading continuous analysis and optimization.
- Serve as the escalation point for the most challenging incidents and bugs, driving root‑cause analysis and implementing permanent solutions.
Requirements
- Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Serve as the team's primary technical reference, guiding Mid‑level and Senior developers in adopting best practices and resolving complex problems.
- Solution Design and Architecture: Lead the design of software solutions, applying deep knowledge of microservices architecture, DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, and Clean Code.
- Exceptional Code (Hands‑on): Lead by example, writing clean, efficient, high‑quality code in Kotlin and Java, and setting the standard for the team.
- Quality Culture: Be a principal advocate and promoter of a quality‑driven culture, encouraging practices such as TDD and thorough code reviews.
- Performance and Reliability: Ensure applications are instrumented to capture metrics, logs, and performance data, leading analysis and continuous optimization.
- Critical Problem Resolution: Act as the escalation point for the most challenging incidents and bugs, conducting root‑cause analysis and implementing definitive solutions.
- Extensive experience and fluency in object‑oriented languages, especially Java and Kotlin.
- Proven expertise in microservices architecture.
- Deep knowledge and practical application of principles such as TDD, DDD, Clean Code, and Hexagonal Architecture.
- Strong experience with SQL databases.
- Experience across the full development lifecycle in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
- Ability to solve complex problems and communicate solutions clearly to technical and non‑technical teams.
- Proficiency with GIT/Git Flow.
