At Wiers, we put that experience on the road. As a Master Mobile Diesel Technician, you’ll take on advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics at the customer’s location, run your own service territory, and build direct relationships with the fleets that rely on you. Each call is a chance to solve a real problem, earn trust, and become the technician customers ask for by name.

Compensation

• $35–$40 per hour
• Performance-based bonuses throughout the year

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the trusted expert fleets rely on when they need service at their location.

• Diagnose and repair diesel systems on-site—from routine maintenance to complex issues
• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance
• Keep fleets compliant, reliable, and operational
• Representing Wiers with professionalism, consistency, and skill

What You Bring

• 6+ years of diesel technician experience
• Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, not required)
• Ability to handle heavy components and work in field conditions
• Customer-focused mindset with professional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certifications
• Manufacturer certifications (Cummins, Detroit, Navistar, etc.)
• Mobile or field service experience
• DOT inspection experience
• Advanced diagnostic training
