Job Summary
The Master Planner is responsible for end-to-end production planning, scheduling, and material coordination to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and on-time delivery. This role will work cross-functionally with Sales, Program Management, Procurement, and Engineering teams to align supply with demand in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to support manufacturing output and customer demand
Plan and release work orders (WO) based on production and engineering requirements
Manage short-term production planning, including rolling 10-day production plans
Partner with Sales and Program teams to align on order demand, priorities, and schedule changes
Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely material availability
Lead daily shipment and production meetings to ensure on-time delivery
Work closely with logistics partners to coordinate shipment schedules
Manage urgent requests, pull-ins, and schedule adjustments in a dynamic environment
Provide forecast visibility and support demand planning activities
Identify new customer requirements and integrate them into production and shipping plans
Track and support departmental KPIs related to delivery, planning accuracy, and efficiency
Ensure documentation and processes comply with internal standards and ISO requirements
Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning and operations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
5–8 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of production planning, material flow, and scheduling processes
Experience in high-mix, high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and planning tools
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
