MAT/MOUD APRN FNP or PA
Job Description: Guide patients on their journey to mental wellness
Role and Responsibilities
- Conducts MOUD education.
- Performs psychiatric evaluations.
- Provides MOUD treatment including Vivitrol and Buprenorphine
- Provides ongoing psychiatric medication for those needing it along with their MOUD treatment
- Provides emergency and consultation services.
- Provides consultation services to community as requested
- Attends treatment planning conferences within the agency
- Consults with other staff and maintains updated medical records.
- Work closely under the supervising Doctor following all recommendations
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Master’s degree in nursing and current Kentucky Board of Nursing APRN Licensure. Or a Licensed Physician’s Assistant by the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure
- Requirement, 1 year of experience.
- DEA License
- Preferred three to five years’ experience working in MOUD population
Physical Requirements
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise objects, including the human body.
Special Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory motor vehicle record.
- Dependable transportation.
- Willing to travel throughout the region to conduct clinics
