Summary
Manages hospital supplies and patient charges, processes incoming/outgoing products, and handles mail distribution in a healthcare setting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Responsible for daily patient charges and supplies.
- Receive incoming and processes out going products.
- Participate in Hospital inventory program.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and post out-going mail as needed.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Basic computer skills.
- Good math skills.
AGE-RELATED COMPETENCIES: Demonstrates the basic knowledge and skills necessary to identify age-specific patient needs appropriate for this position.

Risk Management/Quality Management/Safety: Cooperates fully in all Risk Management, Quality Management, and Safety Activities and Investigations.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work Experience – One year in supplies or medical field.
- Training
- License/Certification – Valid drivers license required. BLS preferred
ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS: Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood, or other body fluids.
