Summary: The material handler receiving position is responsible for the incoming of material, managing inventory, and maintaining plant organization.
Responsibilities/Duties: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Minimum expectations include but are not limited to:
- Load/unload trucks.
- Verify incoming materials.
- Data entry.
- Plant organization.
- Participate month end inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts in AS/400.
- Manage materials in multiple locations.
- Release materials from vendors.
- Issue purchase orders.
- Cycle count materials.
- Takes responsibility of work area to produce a safe and quality food product. Report all food safety and quality related problems to your manager and to the QA department to initiate immediate action.
