Material Handler - 2nd Shift
Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Material Handler is responsible for picking and receiving all production orders, and for organizing and maintaining accurate inventory. 2nd shift is 2:30pm-1am M-Th, potential overtime Friday with a 15% shift differential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Replenishment of inventory
- Pull pick production orders
- Pick shipping orders
- Receive and put away production orders into stock
- Organize and maintain accurate inventory
- Operate forklift to move materials
- Considerable lifting of materials
- Cycle counting
- Cut bar stock
- Maintain grease points on saw
- Fill and change coolant tank
- Change saw blades
- Clean saw auger
- Follow safety rules and keep clean/orderly work area
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
