Material Handler

Material Handler w/ some Forklift Chesapeake, Va Full- time, 8am-5pm Givens is Driven to Deliver- both for our customers and our employees. Since 1957 we have provided our customers a single source solution in warehouse, distribution, transportation, packing and crating and air freight services. We have been growing significantly over the last few years and continue to grow at a rapid pace.

Requirements

• Clean and inspect engines.
• Identify damaged product or shortages and report to appropriate personnel
• Properly use RF scanners to confirm accuracy
• Pull material from location for shipping
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
• Shrink Wrap and banding
• Ability to meet on time performance metrics
• Comply with policies/procedures including safety procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet productivity goals and deadlines
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• 1 Year of forklift experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid forklift certificate or ability to obtain
• Other duties as assigned

$16.50/Hourly, weekly pay
