Material Handler

As a Material Handler, you will assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment. Receives, unpacks, inspects, and stores incoming materials and supplies. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation.

• Packages, bands, and stretch wraps all outgoing shipment according to CCT procedures and customer requirements
• Weigh material after production to ensure it meets the standard requirement
• Loads and unloads trucks & slitters
• Daily organization of adhesive storage room and raw material warehouse
• Operate a Forklift and machinery throughout shift
• Operate tier lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving to platform to storage or work areas
• Follow all health, safety, and housekeeping procedures, policies and practices and consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems
• Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals
• Participate and share in performing all tasks necessary to run the facility
• Completion of any specific projects assigned
• Other duties as needed/required to meet company goals
