Material Handler

As a Material Handler with Hickey Metal Fabrication, you will move, store and track inventory in fabrication and warehouse facilities. This position is responsible for loading/unloading shipments of material. Ensuring materials reach proper production or shipping, focusing on efficiency, organization and safety by following procedures. You will be handling parts from pallets, trucks, containers, totes and boxes. You will be responsible for selecting, counting, and maintaining inventory records while maintaining organized production areas.

Must have experience in the use of a forklift.

Candidates for Material Handler position must have the knowledge and experience to use a computer.

Ability to follow directions and change gears quickly based on a fast-paced production schedule and environment.

Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.

Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and professional manner.

Attention to detail.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Regular, reliable predictable attendance.
