Description
- Handle movement and maintain storage of materials, supplies, tools and equipment to and from the work area as required. Set up and operate material handling equipment. Load/unload trucks as needed. Move material throughout the facility as needed.
- Proper use and maintenance of material handling equipment including, but not limited to, chains, slings, hooks, couplers, overhead bridged cranes, fork lifts.
- Verify accuracy of work per customer order.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance including, but not limited to, lubricating, cleaning and making minor adjustments and replacement of filters. Assist as required in upkeep of warehouse facility and break areas.
- Responsible for completing all work in a safe, timely, cost efficient and quality manner.
- Accurately complete all required documentation.
- Support and comply with company policies, programs, procedures and/or guidelines during performance of all duties. Report observed instances of non-compliance to Supervisor.
- Demonstrate safe work habits. Attend trainings and meetings as required.
- Cross-train on other areas in preparation for performing in a back-up capacity. Provide hands-on training as needed.
- Cooperate with all co-workers and management personnel in all areas and departments. Promote the best interests of the company and contribute to a positive work environment at all times.
