Material Handler Production

SUMMARY:

Perform material handling for the tooling, assembly and warehousing areas.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Actively promote and drive a culture of safety
• Communicate and work to assure on time delivery targets and productivity rates are met
• Follow procedures and work instructions
• Ensure required paperwork is complete and accurate
• Ensure logs for the forklift are filled out daily
• Follow all safety rules when operating forklifts

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect tools and supplies from staging locations, verify that all items have been returned, place all items in proper warehouse location and log in.
• Assume responsibility for all governmental tooling audits.
• Pull tools and stage as requested.
• Safety move, lift and/or turn heavy molds with a forklift and/or overhead crane using eye bolts and chains.
• Move all inventoried materials via RF Scanner to facilitate appropriate IQMS transactions.
• Assist with loading/unloading of freight trucks (molds) as necessary using appropriate equipment.
• Ensure all receipts are accurately entered into IQMS.
• Receive Work in Process (WIP) parts returned from outside secondary operations.
• Use work orders to pull parts, components, supplies and stage as needed to support the production operation.
• Maintain the corrugated box area.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the tool storage area, stage area and box area.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
