Material Handler

You will support data center construction by receiving, staging, transporting, tracking, and delivering materials to work areas. You will operate material-handling equipment, maintain safe staging areas, expedite critical materials, fulfill material requests, and coordinate with construction, engineering, trades, vendors, and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and trades teams to eliminate material bottlenecks
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe delivery and staging areas
• Receive, pick up, and deliver materials across the data center campus and surrounding sites
• Stage and transport materials for work packages and project milestones
• Operate material-handling equipment and maintain operator qualifications
• Build and maintain staging and delivery locations
• Expedite critical materials to meet construction schedules
• Use inventory and scheduling systems to fulfill material requests
• Track incoming deliveries and outgoing materials

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• Experience operating a forklift or other material-handling motorized vehicles or equipment
• 2+ years of experience in construction, warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics
