Material Handling Coordinator

Synopsis

We are looking for an experienced warehouse professional to join our team. Responsible for inbound and outbound delivery coordination, material handling, loading and unloading, securing packing materials, following guidance on standard pallet building, etc. Comfortable with forklift/reach truck driving in a large multi-purpose warehouse.

Accountabilities

1. Deal with vendor delivery representatives, check the delivery documents and validate the PO and quantity is available in the system.

2. Physical receiving of local supplies, physical inspection of goods, prepare checklist and where necessary raise vendor non-conformance forms for non-compliance on delivery.

3. Guide on building standard pallets and physically put away to designated bins. Shared responsibility of physically putting away all the stock items that are received in a day and completing the task on the same day.

4. SAP system update of daily put away and posting GRNs and secure the delivery documents for future audit purposes.

5. Offloading of items from containers/trucks upon receiving, palletizing, and physical put away of import shipments.

6. Internal physical stock movements and rearrangements. Carry out daily put-away audit. Monitor and ensure compliance with internal safety requirements.

7. Participate in cycle count and annual physical stock count.

8. Licensed to drive reach truck for put away and for unloading assistance drive forklift.

9. On outbound side, make sure the daily dispatch of materials is loaded on time and delivery documents are handed to the responsible driver who takes the delivery to various points of delivery.

10. In general, multi-tasking job in between inbound and outbound where appropriate.

Education & Experience

• Higher secondary education and working experience in ERP system SAP WM module specific.
• Licensed reach truck and forklift operator, light vehicle driver license.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a large warehouse operation.
