Material Manager

•Manage end-to-end material planning, procurement, import/export, and inventory activities.
•Ensure material availability to support customer orders, production requirements, and sales demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
•Manage overseas suppliers and coordinate purchasing, shipping, customs clearance, and delivery.
•Monitor inventory levels, consumption, lead times, and demand forecasts to prevent shortages and excess stock.
•Calculate and monitor landed cost, including material cost, freight, duties, taxes, and other import-related expenses.
•Drive purchasing cost optimization through sourcing, negotiation, shipment consolidation, and supply planning.
•Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, Finance, and overseas factories to ensure smooth material flow.
Requirements of the job
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
•Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, material planning, supply chain, or import/export, with supervisory or management experience preferred.
•Strong experience in international purchasing, import/export procedures, inventory management, and logistics.
•Good understanding of landed cost, customs duties, freight, and international trade terms (Incoterms).
•Strong negotiation, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
•Good command of written and spoken English; Chinese or other languages would be an advantage.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
•Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills.
