Material Planning Manager (Secondment 6-9 Months)

HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT
Lead and manage people, technology, and financial resources within the department to achieve operational goals.
Actively share knowledge and identify potential improvements in processes or products, taking risks to develop innovative ideas.
Solve moderately complex problems within the department and assist with issues outside the department when necessary.
Oversee operational activities to support short-term departmental goals and manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, coaching, and ongoing assessment.
Recognize the need for development in others, collaborate to create development plans, and manage multiple projects involving cross-functional representatives.
Work with various stakeholders to drive improvements in supply chain processes, establish performance objectives, and implement operational changes.
Track adherence and deviations in statistical forecasting processes, develop action plans with demand teams, and monitor supply outlook to resolve issues.
Be accountable for sales operations, including distributor inventory management and replenishment, in collaboration with the Above Market Planning (AMP) team, commercial, and Customer Service teams.
Interface between plant operations and third-party customers to assist with the production of new products or extensions of existing product lines and manage supply projection and inventory holdings.
Develop and maintain customer metrics, provide input for financial sales estimates, integrate new products into plans, and coordinate scheduling meetings to resolve issues and expedite critical product supply.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 5+ years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 3+ years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10+ years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated application of planning skills in the area of Supply Chain, inventory & material management, site operations.
Ability to work with a lot of variables and data, and synthesize to drive management decision making.
Strong people management experience.
Experience in leading a team and strong stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Fluent in English, written and verbal.
Nice-to-Have
Degree with relevant pharmaceutical experience.
Strong skills in System Application & Products and systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive results.
Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

Secondment 6-9 months
If you are currently in a driving position with a fleet vehicle and this secondment does not require driving as an essential function of the position for 12 months or longer, you will be required to turn in your fleet vehicle for the duration of the non-driving secondment. Please refer to the Fleet Policy and Procedures document for more information.
There will be no change to your current work location.
