Material Process Engineer

Industrialization of alternative materials and new production technologies for Rubber Metal Parts and Air Springs

Manage own projects inside MatPE (Material Process Engineering), with close collaboration with other involved departments.

Organization and set-up of new compounds at local CC (Compounding Center), in collaboration with local departments.

▪ Support Purchasing, SCM and Material Development in technical discussions regarding alternate raw materials

▪ Organization of compound relocations together with the local department 'Product and Process Industrialization'

▪ Organize laboratory testing on alternate materials and compound testing incl. evaluation and interpretation of test results

▪ Evaluation and approval of product and material properties during industrialization in accordance with product requirements

▪ Foster material savings, phase-out of hazardous materials, cost improvement projects and activities according to product requirements and customer focus

▪ Support the effective transfer of products and know how, technology for manufacturing processes and troubleshooting between facilities

▪ Assist in the implementation of new alternative material supplier and support supplier audits

▪ Foster material introduction at the facilities according to regional strategy

Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Engineer, Technician with relevant experience or correlated areas.

Experience in the implementation of technical products.

Experience with technical rubber products and application fields.

First experience in Project Management beneficial - Planning, Leading, Monitoring, Risk Management.
