Material Supply Specialist

We are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented Material Supply Specialist to join our global Inbound Supply Chain team.

In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring material availability across GPV's global operations. Working with suppliers, sourcing teams and production sites worldwide, you will help secure materials, mitigate supply risks and support our business in meeting customer commitments.

What you will be doing

  • Monitor material availability and identify potential supply risks

  • Analyse shortages and critical material situations using ERP, Targit and QlikSense

  • Source and secure critical materials from suppliers and the open market

  • Place purchase orders and follow up on deliveries

  • Work closely with GPV sites, suppliers and Global Sourcing teams to resolve supply challenges

  • Monitor overdue and unconfirmed purchase orders

  • Support cross-functional task force activities to resolve material shortages

  • Communicate purchase price variances and supply risks to relevant stakeholders

  • Act as a bridge between local operations and group functions to mitigate supply gaps

We invite you to apply if you have

  • Experience within Purchasing, Procurement or Supply Chain

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working with ERP systems and business intelligence tools

  • A good understanding of purchasing processes and supply chains

  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

  • The ability to work independently and prioritise effectively

  • The ability to collaborate across functions, cultures and time zones

It would be an advantage if you also have

  • Experience within the electronics manufacturing industry

  • Experience in shortage management or material planning

  • Knowledge of global supplier markets

  • We offer a gross monthly salary starting at €2,000 (depending on the candidate's experience). However, your salary cannot be determined by a unilateral decision, so we would be happy to discuss it with you.
