MATERIALS EXAMINER AND IDENTIFIER (FORKLIFT OPERATOR)

About the Position: Performs, examines/identifies a wide variety of materials and equipment for storage and worldwide distribution. Perform material receipt examinations in order to provide positive identification and classification of standardized, complex and/or hazardous equipment and material from a wide variety of sources.

Receive, check visually and physically examine, identify, classify, accept, store, issue, reject, and dispose of the most complex and/or hazardous categories of materials and equipment.

Safely receive, store, move, and tally a variety of material including hazardous and toxic substances in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.

Performs warehousing receiving, storing, issuing, shipping, location survey inventorying and re-warehousing of complex, hazardous radioactive materials and equipment.
