Materials Handler (80697)
Summary
Handles hospital materials management tasks including inventory system input, pick list creation, order management, and distribution of supplies and equipment. Works with the Materials Management Inventory System (MMIS) to maintain stock levels and assist with patient charge processes.
Inputs requisitions/requests into the Materials Management Inventory System (MMIS) and creates “pick list” reports. Maintains back order, open order, inventory adjustments/corrections and shares back orders and reports. Assists with patient charge entry and reconciliation. Performs inventory control tasks such as stocking, receiving and distributing materials, supplies and equipment.
