MATERIALS PLANNING ANALYST II

Job Overview

Responsible for proper execution and managing stock replenishments from multiple suppliers to TE Plants ensuring supply continuity. He or she is also responsible to ensure the delivery of every purchase order from the supplier to the TE site in-full and on-time.

This position is focused on improving material planning process to be the best in class.

Will lead the operational task not limited to internal customer satisfaction, supply continuity, and replenishment cycles and works cross-functionally with Planning team, DC Operations team, and Customer Care team.

Job Requirements

  • Monitor procurement and relating activities for assigned suppliers to ensure timely stock replenishment and supply to multiple TE plants through PR to PO releases to external suppliers.
  • Analyze, review and execute resolution to exception messages, either cancel, reschedule, pull-in/expedites in alignment with external and internal sources.
  • Reviews aging orders and provide actions and solutions
  • Monitor, report, and improve key performance metrics, including exception message aging, optimal inventory, supplier ship to request, shortages, blocked invoice aging, and supplier performance.
  • Resolve Price and Quantity discrepancies according to the relevant policies
  • Enter Material Planning Master Data (except info records)
  • Support assigned TE plants with procurement analysis and data to enable strategic decisions.
  • Regularly share available Forecast Data with external Vendors as well as communication through joint calls

What your background should look like

  • Degree /Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • SAP (or other ERP software) – 1-2 years
  • Understanding of MRP, Procurement Purchasing – 1-2 years
  • Planning and experience in Supply Chain Management – 1-2 years

  • Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines, travel when necessary.

  • Ability to communicate in French is an added advantage.
