Materials / Warehouse Manager@jurong island

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Materials / Warehouse Manager to oversee the management of materials, equipment, and supplies for construction projects in Singapore. The role ensures timely, accurate, and safe material supply to support smooth project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Incoming Goods Management

• Accept, inspect, and register materials, equipment, and tools

• Ensure quantity, specifications, and quality meet project requirements

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain a materials ledger and conduct regular inventory checks

• Optimize inventory structure to prevent overstocking or shortages

3. Outgoing Goods Management

• Distribute materials according to construction needs and procedures

• Ensure records match physical inventory

4. Warehouse Safety

• Implement fire prevention, moisture protection, anti-theft, and other safety measures

• Inspect warehouse facilities regularly to eliminate hazards

• Manage hazardous materials (flammable, explosive, chemical) in compliance with safety procedures

5. Team Collaboration

• Manage, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel

• Coordinate with construction teams, procurement, and suppliers to meet material needs efficiently

6. Cost Control

• Minimize material loss, damage, and waste

• Provide data-driven recommendations for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
