About the student
- Adult learner with dyslexia and Asperger's syndrome, seeking general education support.
- The student would like general academic support with a focus on strengthening his reading comprehension and mathematical skills.
- The student's goal is to strengthen his overall educational foundation and become a more confident, capable learner.
- The student is seeking 1-hour tutoring sessions once per week, during his availability: Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
- The student is seeking a tutor who can meet for in-person sessions at his home in Monroe.
Requirements
REQUIRED
- You have experience teaching/tutoring adult students.
- You are willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles).
- Due to insurance requirements, the applicant must not be a minor.
PREFERRED
- You have a teaching certification.
- You are Orton-Gillingham certified.
- You have experience working with students with dyslexia.
- You have experience working with students with Asperger's/autism.
