Summary

Develops numerical methods and algorithms for engineering fluid-flow simulation software using C# and advanced ODE/PDE solving techniques.

Salary: £45,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of numerical methods for solving ODEs and PDEs
  • A PhD in a STEM subject
  • Good numerical programming skills, ideally in C#
  • Good technical communication skills
Responsibilities:
  • Develop numerical methods for new software products
  • Create and modify numerical methods for solving PDEs and ODEs
  • Produce robust and efficient algorithms for engineering fluid flow simulation software
  • Implement numerical methods in code
  • Work closely with programmers to convert mathematical insights into finished products
